Patients who fail to cancel their appointment or do not turn up for their appointment has a detrimental affect on waiting times.  Please remember to let the staff know if you no longer need your appointment so that they can offer than time to another patient.

We are receiving a lot of enquiries to join our Practice from patients living out of our practice area. To save disappointment please use our postcode checker which is located in the New Patient section of our website, this will clearly tell you whether you reside within our area.  We do not take patients who are not in our area.  If you wish to ring the surgery to enquire then please ring after 10:00am.

Appointments can be booked by telephone (calls may be recorded), on-line or face to face.  If you cannot attend your appointment then please let us know.  Appointment text reminders are being used for those patients who provide a mobile number.  If you do not wish to receive these reminders then please inform us.

Weight Matters

weight-matters-logo.jpg The Healthy Weight Programme is a Health Promotion Service programme where three projects have merged. We now have a multi disciplinary team, which can cater for a whole range of needs rather than being specific to one area of work, including Adult Weight Management, Healthy Eating and Physical Activity.

By merging these three programmes we have been able to extend the support and range of healthy weight interventions we can offer to health professionals and their patients.which includes a self help website for adults who want to manage their own weight and a rolling programme of Weight Matters Groups in the community. The website includes a range of tools which patients and staff may find helpful to support overweight and obese individuals.

Over 50% of GP practices in Cornwall are now working with our programme to support overweight and obese patients.

Please book an appointment with one of our key referrers today (Mary Helley or Helen Waterfield) to be referred to the scheme.

Unfortunately Weight Watcher and Slimming World vouchers are no longer available.
